The Tech Lead will be a hands-on individual taking a leading role in bringing ideas to life. You will work closely with clients and the internal validation team on software projects, rapidly demonstrating capability and vision for ideas and ventures. You will be curious and driven for internal automation and workflow development, building software tools for streamlining capabilities.

The Role

Lead the innovation of technology to bring solutions to life through software development. Join an exceptionally creative team that believes in exploring complex problems with their clients, untangling them, and developing meaningful and inventive solutions. You will work alongside a multifunctional team of idea validators to guide growth, strategic direction, and evolution of ideas.

Longing for continuous optimisation and innovation with projects and ideas, you will put concepts and ideas into visual prototypes and designs. Your drive for creativity and pushing boundaries will ensure you are successful in this position, organisation, and environment. You will be a highly analytical team player, captivated by pushing boundaries and exploring new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build software demonstrations and prototypes to showcase the art of the possible
• Build the front-end of applications and dashboards through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning cloud and local databases and applications
• Provide support in the validation process for large organisations and start-ups to prototype products, services and ventures
• Work with a multifunctional team to validate ideas using design thinking techniques
• You will work autonomously to develop solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Write effective APIs

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering supported by 5+ years of industry experience
• Outstanding communication skills
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders, communicating with customers and C- level clients
• Familiarity and experience with a diverse range of languages, both front-end and back-end
• Working Knowledge of one or more cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience using a variety of data mining / data analysis methods
• MUST be biased to action, resilient and passionate about innovation and technology
• MUST be highly competitive, curious, think laterally, and develop solutions to commercial problems
